Katy Perry's latest Menulog advertisement has caused global debate, with each country taking to social media and advocating for their own version.
The latest iteration of Menulog's catchy jingle, 'Did Somebody Say?', features the 'Teenage Dream' singer dressed in bright vintage clothing with rollers in her hair picking up her order at the door of her life-size dollhouse, singing about wanting a "curry in a hurry" and "extra sauce on the low".
The one difference is Katy singing a different name for the app – "Just Eat" for the UK, and "Skip" for Canada, and of course, "Menulog" for Australia.

Other names include Lieferando for Germany and Austria, Takeaway.com for Belgium, Bulgaria and Luxembourg, Thuisbezorgd for the Netherlands and Grubhub for the US.

Commenters were stunned to see the differing versions of the advertisement.
"What?!?!?!? It's only Menulog in Australia?!?!?!??!" asked one disbelieving commenter.
"Menulog has that ring to it," another affirmed.
"Just eat is the original and is so superior," argued another.
"Skip absolutely does not have enough syllables to fit in that song," one person said.
But they could all agree on one thing; "Katy ate every single one up."

This isn't the first time the advertisement has caused controversy, receiving backlash after having been played in every ad break during Game One of the 2022 State of Origin.
Social media users complained of the overuse of the song ruining the experience of the game.
"Katy Perry and her Menulog ad has officially ruined State of Origin," one declared.
"I've seen more of Katy Perry tonight than I have of Nathan Cleary," said another.
