The Voice Australia coach Rita Ora has gushed over her rumoured husband Thor director beau Taika Waititi adding more fuel to those wedding rumours.
There was rumoured the two had wed back in July in an intimate ceremony in London.
“I’m in love. I’m very much in love. I’m in love, I’m in love, amen,” she said during an appearance on Jaime Winstone’s Greatest Night Ever podcast.
“But I love love as well. I’ve always been such a believer in it and I’ve always felt like I always wanted the fairytale and that’s what I grew up loving.”
It’s rumoured the couple is planning a bigger party with their nearest and dearest in the coming months.
Ora said her parent’s relationship inspired her to find “The One”.
“My parents have been together for over 30 years, so for me it was always about love and finding a partner and all that, so I’m really happy I did,” she continued.
“I made that choice. It made me happy and I love Taika. He’s so funny and lovely.”
The couple met during the pop princess’ first season as coach of Seven’s hit singing competition series back in 2020 although they were first linked in April 2021, when a photo of Waititi was discovered buried deep in Ora’s Instagram post.
Waititi was previously married to film producer Chelsea Winstanley, but were believed to have quietly split in 2018.
They share two daughters: Te Hinekahu, 10, and Matewa Kiritapu, 6.
It had been reported that the New Zealand director had proposed to Ora in June.
They made headlines when paparazzi snapped photos of the couple in a three-way kiss with actor Tessa Thompson.
Fans excited to learn more about this private couple could get an inside into their romance when Ora releases her next album.
She also told fans can expect to “hear some truths” about her journey to finding love.
“I’ve kept my personal life really private this time. I’ve learnt a lot through the years and I felt like musically it was like a calling that I want to sing about it for the first time instead of talking about it. And it felt really nice to put it in my music.”
