Nigerian singer Omah Lay in Chicago for debut album tour – CBS Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) — Afrobeat singer and producer Omah Lay is an up-and-coming artist that’s touring the world together with his debut album, “Boy Alone.” 
Between his Nigerian roots and his late grandfather’s work as a percussionist, the 25-year-old says that music runs in his blood. He spoke with CBS Chicago forward of his headline present on the Home of Blues.
This summer time, Omah Lay gained viral consideration by pairing up with Justin Bieber for his or her hit single, “Consideration.” 
“It has been a tremendous time of my profession that I’ll always remember. One of many candy moments in my profession that I’ll always remember was working with Justin Bieber. I am actually grateful,” he says.
Though exhausted from journey, he says that the thrill from every present is value it. Omah Lay sees every viewers as extra than simply followers, however buddies that he can sing and dance together with to his personal music.
