Maverick City Music mashup with Beyoncé song divides with backlash and praise – CHVN Radio

A social media influencer and pal of Maverick City Music posted a brief mashup of the band’s tune alongside pop artist Beyoncé’s tune, which garnered over 4,000 feedback. 
One week in the past social media influencer Jamison Bethea posted a mashup of Maverick Metropolis’s tune ‘Relaxation On Us’ with Beyoncé’s tune ‘Halo.’ 
The Instagram publish had hundreds of individuals commenting, many individuals questioning if Maverick Metropolis Music was hinting at a collaboration with the singer.

The overflowing feedback included the fireplace emoji from individuals who loved it, in addition to feedback from those that have been involved, saying issues like, 'That is disappointing,' or 'Nope!' Whereas Beyoncé began her singing profession in a church, a current single from her new album Renaissance titled 'Church Woman' is full of references of sexualized dancing and physique components.
The worship band led by Brandon Lake and Chandler Moore made their stance clear in a remark. 

"Maverick Metropolis hasn't misplaced its manner, now we have no songs that compromise the Gospel or phrase of God," says Maverick Metropolis on Instagram. "We do not assist or preach false doctrine, and we aren't presently collaborating with Beyoncé. We're, nevertheless, supporting our brother Jamison Bethea and his musical genius, and we're praying for his household. We are going to proceed to stick to the Nice Fee given to all of us."

After the preliminary publish, Bethea clarified the mashup. 

"Not an official collaboration. This was not commissioned by Maverick Metropolis Music. Y’all that know the phrases of prayer ship one up for the Bethea and Barnes households."
