The Magic: The Gathering card game is set to receive a special Wit Studio-produced cinematic for its new Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty set on February 15. The animation will feature a new song from TK from Ling Tosite Sigure featuring Koushi Inaba.
The cinematic’s staff includes maxilla’s Yuki Kamiya (“Episodeⁿ | Kuusou” music video) as director, storyboarder and unit director; Ebisu Takuma (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song- mecha designer et al.) as character designer and animation director, Satoshi Hashimoto (Ranking of Kings) as color designer, Hirofumi Sakagami (Orient) as art director, and Keisuke Nozawa (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song-) as photography director.

Masanobu Hiraoka (Kids TV POKÉTOON “Fubuki no Natsuyasumi” director et al.) is credited with special effects animation, while maxilla’s Matsuno Takahito and Charles Chung are in charge of the 3DCG.
Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty launched for MTG Arena on February 10 and is set to have its physical launch on February 18. The set revisits the Kamigawa plane and features the Reconfigure, Modified, Sagas, Ninjutsu, and Channel mechanics.
