Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is getting another surprise update this week, courtesy of developers Treyarch.
While development and fine-tuning have never really ended, Cold War Zombies modes have been superseded by the Vanguard experience launched last year.
However, that hasn’t stopped the team at Treyarch from putting together something special for fans to enjoy this week. Here’s everything we know about today’s Cold War update launch across PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
As revealed by Treyarch earlier this month, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War update 1.31 is being released today, April 25. The new patch will start rolling out at 9am PT, or 5pm BST if you live in the UK. This new update is mainly focused at refreshing the zombies mode available in-game, which proved to be one of the most popular parts of it.
And luckily for us, Treyarch has put together a solid list of changes that everyone can check out before the update goes live. This includes big news for Easter Egg hunters, with Treyarch confirming that something new is being added. According to the team working on Black Ops, this latest drop will add something new for Easter Egg hunters to find, although it will come with some hefty requirements.
New updates are coming to #BlackOpsColdWar Zombies on April 25th at 9AM PT / 12AM ET!

A new area is being added to the world of Cold War Zombies that will provide some great permanent rewards. However, the number of bonuses you can earn will depend on how many Zombies maps you have completed.
