Covid-19 impact: While working remotely, a majority of wellness programs went virtual. We have weekly virtual yoga and group fitness classes, which have been a great success. We continue with our monthly wellness activities with the focus on both physical and mental health. We provide a variety of virtual webinars on topics such as mental health, diabetes, stroke, cancer screenings, healthy eating, financial well-being, etc. We continue to focus our wellness emails on self-care and provide them weekly.
Popular components: Employees really enjoy the variety of wellness programs we offer throughout the year. While working remotely, the most popular programs have been the weekly virtual group fitness/yoga classes and the monthly wellness activities that have incorporated physical, mental, financial, spiritual and emotional challenges.
Mental health: Our employees’ mental health has been a top priority during the past couple of years. We continue to offer programs, activities and webinars that focus on self-care. We offered a four-part series with Mental Health First Aid to managers and employees on the importance of self-care. Through our employee assistance program, we offer seven webinars throughout the year to our employees on various topics.
